Gene & I worked together at Toledo Scale. In the early 70's he built our home in Temperance on Woodside Drive. My wife & I now live in Georgia but we never forgot Gene and his wife....they were so nice.

I think my best memory of Gene was in August at Put in Bay we happened to have the room to ourselves while everyone else was on the porch or napping and he told me his life story in his own words, but it was so delightful!! I will always remember that afternoon. Thinking of you all.
