I remember Gene as a colleague at the University of Michigan. We met occasionally on issues of mutual interest. His commitment to diversity was manifested in many ways and I thank him for it. He was also a fellow Rotarian and member of First Pres--all examples of his good judgement. I will miss him. May God's Peace and Grace be with all of us as we mourn his passing and celebrate his going home to join the Saints.

I have such nice memories of Gene Ingram -- a friend and colleague of my father, a friend and colleague of mine… He contributed so much to the University he loved and to his community. He will be missed. Jill Brinkerhoff Arnold

I have so many good memories of visiting Uncle Gene and Aunt Marge, both in Lincoln and in Ann Arbor. Dad and his brother looked so much alike, it really made that family connection! My heart goes out to Aunt Marge and all of the family. It's so hard to lose someone you've loved for so long and shared all of life's big moments with. Everyone take care and know you have our deepest sympathy.
