Gene and my husband, Ken, were great friends. When Ken died, I gave Gene Ken's "big game" rifle since both enjoyed hunting in
Africa and it was too much gun for an amateur. When Ken, Gene, Dick & Larry got together, I was 'wide eyed' listening to their wild tales, knowing they were true but perhaps became more colorful with the telling. Anne & Gene were wonderfully kind when Ken died, including me in family get-togethers, checking up to make sure I was OK and ensuring I moved forward. ...
