Dear Jones Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I recall numerous memories in growing up with Jeff the many times you opened your home to us and Mr. Jones was always right there with us involved in many of the activities we did. He always seemed to make time for his family. We will be lifting your family up in prayer during this time.

We were saddened to hear of Gene's passing. Jana Heatherly Roberts would keep us up to date on all of you. We remember when we were all members at Pleasant Ridge. He was so fun to be around and that is how he will be remembered. We will be praying for God's comfort and love to surround you during these difficult days.

Gene was an excellent co-worker and a wonderful friend. I met Gene when I came to Energen Corporation in 1998, and he was an absolute delight to work with. It was a joy to hear him talk about his family and his grandbabies. His Grandbabies were the apples of his eye.

Rest in peace my friend, and God Bless all who knew him and miss him.

Gene was a fun loving man - full of life and always a joy to be around. He maintained a positive attitude and was truly a great man. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

I was so sorry to read about Gene's death. He fought a long hard battle with illness though, and this is one time we can truly say that someone is better. It is for you that I will be praying as you go through this sad time in your life.
