Miss y’all so much

I was saddened by the news of my Cousins' passing. Since I left Scranton at a young age we were never that close but I was always aware of His many accomplishments and like so many others I had great respect and admiration for Him.

Lt Jim Donahue USN (Ret.)
San Diego, Ca.

Our heart and prayers go out to the entire Kane Family.. I left the funeral on Monday so Inspired by the beautiful mass and it truly was a celebration of a GREAT LIFE. The Homily by Msgr. Quinn was perfect as he related the Mission and Values of his business practices to his life: Be Kind, Be Careful and Be Yourself. His son Dick so eloquently spoke on behalf of the family the tremendous legacy of his life as one that focused on his true love of his life, their mother Joan and how family...

To the Kane Family: My father, the late John Hennemuth, had the greatest respect for Gene Kane. He was so proud of your father.

As a child, I recall meeting your family in area restaurants when your Dad would say to my mother (Jeanne Kane Hennemuth), "hello Jeanne Kane...she would reply, "Hello Gene Kane. I thought this was extremely "cool."

Your Dad was a great gentleman... and I know you are so proud. With my deepest sympathy to the Kane Family. Susan Hennemuth

Having spent the day with your family and hearing the exceptionally kind words about your Dad's life and how he treated everyone with kindness and respect, it's no wonder why you are such a kind and caring family. We continue to look forward to enjoying the times spent together with all of you at the shore.

Our sympathy goes out to entire Kane family and workforce. A great man who has left a tremendous impact on this world by doing good. He has led by example of his actions, not words. But the simple words he is known for will always bring a smile to our faces as we travel the highways with our loved ones, reciting the saying on the back of every Kane is Able trailer. It was an honor to know Gene and we will all continue to learn from the wonderful legacy and families he has left behind to...

From all of Gene's indusrty colleagues and friends at Weber Distribtuion, we wish to express our sincere sympathy and condolances to the Kane family. Gene was an inspiration to the industry we serve of which we are forever grateful. He was a true gentleman and leader.

My sympathies are extended to the entire Kane family. I will always remember your dad Gene as one of the most respectable gentleman I was fortunate to meet. His love and loyalty for family and friends is a trait I will always remember and live by. God Bless

I always remember the kindness and love of his family and country. He will not be forgotten. I am proud to have known Gene and to have called him a friend. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Kane family.
