Not sure what to say?

WE MISS YOU GENE AND HOPE YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN ON US . THINGS ARE DIFFERENT HERE NOW AND WE PRAY ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN ARE OK ! PLEASE ASK THE GOOD LORD TO TRY AND BLESS AMERICA AGAIN! SINCE YOU ARE UP THERE NOW IT MIGHT BE EASIER TO GET THE MESSAGE. GOD BLESS YOU.

Many people come into our lives for a reason. Gene was one of those special people and I will always be thankful that He was there when I needed someone who cared . He was a great Boss and a fine neighbor. Gene made me feel welcome especially during that chapter of my life. Thank You Gene as You will never be forgotten.

I first met Gene at Parsons in Pasadena in the 1980s when I was a new hire at Honeywell working on controls for the Carrier chillers.
The first thing he said to me (half-jokingly) was "Stay away from my machines!" He was one of the best chiller guys Carrier ever had. Later I joined Carrier and he was always incredibly helpful and patient and thorough. Guys like Gene are far and few between, unfortunately.

Gene was the first person to befriend me when I arrive at Carrier in 1979. Had it not been for Gene's advice, I wouldn't have found the solitude of Simi Valley to raise my family. Gene and I enjoyed being involved in the Boys Scout with our sons for years. I was saddened to hear about his passing. His name evoked many fond memories both through work and family friendship. Rest in peace, dear friend. ~Bob Yeager

It was always a pleasure visiting with Gene. He wore a perpetual smile, never at a loss for sharing an amusing story and was quick with a kind word. His humor, kindness and friendship will be dearly missed.

Godspeed my friend.

Gene was a valued friend and co-worker. After retirement, he'd stop by the house on Mondays for coffee and conversation on his way to Brian's shop. We shared numerous train trips and an occasional military reunion. Our lives were enriched by this kind
and gentle man. We will miss him on Monday and for many Monday's to come.

RIP my Friend, I will miss our little visits when I come to work in the race shop. Your laugh and your wisdom will be missed. I know they have hotrods in heaven so you will be busy.

I always enjoyed seeing and talking with him... May he RIP

I miss you dad! I don't know what we are going to do without you.
