Dear Bea,
Ken and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Gene. Gene was my mentor and teacher when I served as the director of the Federation's Endowment Fund and for the rest of my career in philanthropy. Gene exemplified the true spirit of generosity and caring for community. Please accept our deep sympathy on this loss to you and your family, and indeed, to the community.
