Not sure what to say?

Gene was a sweet, humorous man who gave in ways where the same money would benefit 3 ways and 2 organizations. Brilliant. Thank you, Gene.

Loved Gene- we all did! He was definitely the Katz meow Hope we will meet up with his spirit once again!

I worked with Gene on many shows throughout the years. He made rehearsals and performances a joy.

I met Mr Katz over the last few years as he would visit my father in law in our home. He and my father in law Stanley were childhood friends and college classmates. The stories and history they shared about Memphis and life when they were young were a treasure. Although brief, I was glad to have met him.

Even though it has been a few decades since I have seen Gene Katz, I have always loved and respected him as a friend and father. I was a neighbor and babysitter for his family years ago. I loved his daughter, Kathy, and his son, Keith. He was a lovely man and humanitarian.

Never missed a theater performance to watch talented Gene Katz.....Fiddler of the roof being my favorite. You lived a rich beautiful life .Rest ion peace.

What a wonderful person he was to talk to and be around. Whenever I´d hear his laugh- it would make me laugh and my day was always better because of his humor, kindness and enthusiasm for life. In recent years, I would occasionally run into him at Overton Bark with his beautiful Irish Setter dog. We chatted about those...
