Not sure what to say?

It’s been 8 years since you left & your sorely missed

I had the pleasure of working for the Keller family at Rods Steak and Seafood Grill in Convent Station. Not only was it the best working environment I ever had, but the whole family treated me with the utmost respect. I and saddened of the news and wish the Keller family my deepest sympathy. Gene will be missed! Scott Lamond ( Caldwell, NJ )

Gene will be missed by many; a tribute of his character and his never ending legacy. He will always be remembered by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

a wonderful gentle man who always made you feel personally welcome. Many memories of his welcoming at the door. Our prayers are with the entire family.

My Dad Joe Casaleiz worked for senior Mr. Keller back in the late 40"s. It was Rod's back then..My brother was born 11-6-44 and that same week Mrs.Keller gave birth to a daughter. My dad said that week they had a drink to the 2 new babies the Duke & Duchess. Well the name stuck and my brother has always been called Duke. My dad died in 1950 and Mr Keller was very nice to my Mom ..Of course I'm assuming Gene Keller at the time was a little boy, or maybe he came later.. My sympathy goes out...

I only knew Gene & Mary Anne for a short while. We met at Monmouth Medical Pulmonary Rehab & built a nice friendship over that time. Gene worked hard at his rehab & was always a gentleman; pleasant, kind & friendly. Mary Anne would sit patiently for Gene to finish & always had a smile. I'm so sorry for your loss. Ginny Tierney

Hello all, As an employee of The Opici Distributing Companies and their NJ subsidiary American B.D. Co., I send my heartfelt condolences to the entire Keller family for your loss. Gene was a gentleman, an honorable person and a pleasure to deal with on a regular basis. He was a faithful customer who gave each company he dealt with a fair opportunity. Again, I am so sorry for the loss of Gene!! Phil Ward

We are so sad at the passing of Gene Keller. He was a wonderful man with a wit and a sense of humor. He treated everyone with respect and we will dearly miss him. We knew him for 20+ years, and it was always a treat to see and talk with him.
Our hearts are with you in this time of need.
Most sincerely,
Louise and Robert Solomon

I am truely sorry to hear about the sad passing of Gene. My late husband was Leonard T. Reed who was the head pastry chef for 27 yrs. for Rod Senior and the family. He knew Gene when he was a young boy.I remember one day he came to our home in Livingston to visit our family and St. Bernard dog with thoughts of buying one.
My prayers are with all the family.
Sincerely, Margaret L Reed,E.Dennis Mass.
