Not sure what to say?

I had Professor Klingshirn as my teacher in many classes since I took many power related courses. His grading of tests was legendary in how tough he performed that task! What I remember the most though was his teaching style. Clear, concise, and so very understandable. He stood at the board and everything he wrote came from within, no notes or books necessary. It made me believe that I too had a chance at understanding all this stuff! Thank you Professor Klingshirn for the knowledge you...

I remember Dr. Klingshirn as one of my electrical engineering professors back in the late 70s and early 80s at CSU. Even though the courses were difficult - such as power electronics and multi-phase motors - he taught with clarity and precision that made them understandable. He was one of the best along with Dr. Kramerich. I miss those days even though the homework was painful! God bless Professor.

The passing of Gene is for me the passing of a lifelong connection with the Klingshirn family.
Among the fondest memories of my childhood were visits with Lawrence and Lucy Klingshirn, dear friends of my parents. Our visits always included a sample of Klingshirn Concord Wine. Summer memories are of visits to Mike and Julia Klingshirn's cottage on the Vermilion River. And when we were at Lawrence's, he pointed out the farm of his cousins on Walker Road. As the years went by and my aunts,...

Professor Klingshirn was the first person I got to know my first day of work in 1976, since he shared a room in our office. He was a dedicated professor well respected by students since he was the EE advisor for years. When he came out of his office and said "girls remember for every crooked pot, there's a crooked lid". That has lived with me forever. I told him he could write a book about what he probably heard in the outer office. He was such a warm, wonderful person, he will always be...

Uncle Gene was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He and Aunt Frenchie did so much to help my in-laws when they needed extra help and comfort. My husband, Bernie and I were so grateful. They were godparents to our first daughter. He will always be on our minds and in our hearts. My family and I send our deepest sympathy and love to the family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. With deepest sympathy on the passing of Eugene. What a delightful man I enjoyed assisting him at his home and talking with him especially about antiques. He will be missed.
