My deepest condolences to the entire Konow family. In 1962 as a rookie police officer, I met Gene while we were both assigned to the First District. I will never forget his kindness and willingness to help the new officers. I have not seen Gene in almost forty years but I will always remember his bright,round smiling face.May he rest in peace for he deserves an eternity of comfort.
