Not sure what to say?

I met Gene at Physical Therapy at Mt Vernon Hospital..We became good friends almost immediately,,,talking and telling jokes. He was one of a kind and always smiling. Missed him terribly as well as I know his family does. May He rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Gene and Addy. I have many fond memories of assisting Gene when CRS was just starting up in Georgetown. They were both such wonderful people and will be remembered fondly.

My Dad, Thomas C Jones, was a childhood friend of Gene Krizek. They graduated from Garfield Hts High. My sister, Joy Jones, and I knew him as "Uncle Gene". We loved it when he came to visit. Our family visited him and Addy in Washington DC several times. I am so sorry for your loss. They were wonderful people and their memory will live on. In deepest sympathy, Donna Benko

Wonderful man who served others. Gene helped families in low income Public Housing for many years. Rest in power my friend.

What a great example of service and servitude Mr. Eugene Krizek has lived. A man without prejudice who displayed love in action not just words. May you eternally Rest In Peace in HIS heavenly arms along side Addy, the love of your life! I pray that God will bless and keep the Krizek family and many friends as they mourn and celebrate the blessing of such a great life. May his life's legacy live on...........

Gene was a hero to me and my "other" father. I remember when I used to bring my baby Sean to work with me at CRS and he and Sean shared the same birthday of December 17th. When I knew I had to put him in day care at the UCM Bel Center I sent Gene a resignation letter from Sean (who was 3 months old at the time). Gene at first thought it was from me, but when he found out it was Sean he wrote back and said "I refuse to accept your resignation Sean, you are a joy and light in our office and we...

So grateful for your family and the visionary leadership of both of your parents. They so obviously believed in stewarding others, including their children, to doing great work on behalf of others.

Paul, Bryan, Neil and Family, I'm so very sorry to just learn of the loss of both Addy and Gene. They both were such generous and kind people and were so kind to me; especially being a young mother with babies in the office. I am eternally grateful for those times and wish you all comfort as you move through this difficult time. They both certainly LIVED their lives and helped others live better lives. What more could anyone ask for. Sincerest condolences and love from all of us; Erin,...

So sad to hear of Gene's passing..We were inRe-Hab together at Mt Vernon Hospital. He was such a kind and caring person..He will be missed....Pam
