Not sure what to say?

Very sorry to learn of Eugene´s passing. We were friends in high school. My condolences to his family

Our sincere condolences to all of Eugene’s family our thoughts are with you. Randy and Christal Clark

I graduated from Mt Mansfield Union High School with Eugene in 1990. There were several of us that all joined the UJFD while we were in High School. We became friends quickly. Over the past 30 years Eugene and I would chat from time to time, and he often spoke about how he missed serving on the UJFD and the Green Mountains of Vermont. While I don’t think he missed the snow and reminded me often of the beautiful weather that only Florida can offer

While Eugene served the UJFD with...

I will always have a special place in my heart for Gene. I took care of him for a period of time before my brother met my sister-in-law. It was hard to let him go but knew he was in good hands. He had a great Mom for life. I would bring him to So. Burlington police dept. where my ex-husband worked. Everybody loved him as well as my ex-husband. Today my current husband, his Uncle Larry, loved to joke and and laugh with Gene. We love you and wish we had one more moment with you. Aunt...

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

To the family of Eugene, I remember him well when he served the Underhill-Jericho Fire Department back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was a popular young man. R.I.P. my friend, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Randy H. Clark, Honorary Chief, UJFD
PS The UJFD has a plaque with names of firefighters that have left Memorial Donations to the UJFD and his name will be on that plaque, Thank You

Gene was our first nephew so we have lots of memories. Uncle Rob would babysit so his parents could have a much needed night out. Aunt Cindi spent time with him reading to him to help him so he fall in love with it. We don’t think it worked. We saw his love for being part of the fire department by the sparkle of his eyes when heading out. When his first daughter was born we knew he’d make a great father just by seeing the love on his face. We were right! He had a kind and loving soul that...
