Not sure what to say?

Aloha & Mahalo to all of you whom have remembered and posted your thoughts on my Grandfather. He was a great man. Told it how it was. I was able to be around my grandfather for most the later years of his life and was able to see him a few weeks before he passed. I made the trip over from Hawaii when he went into the hospital. I am beyond happy I did. What I really love the most is how much my mom with her sister and brother has kept my Grandma and grandpa's love of family and friends alive....

Both of us have known Nancy Waters and Mark, Richard and Susan and their kids for many years, and have been acquainted with Mr. Laird. We always found him funny and enjoyable when we had brief chances to visit him, and send our best wishes and sympathy to all of the family on his passing.

On behalf of my sisters and me,our deepest condolences to the family. Although I barely knew Uncle Gene, our mom,Fordyce adored him and made sure we knew what a wonderful man he was. Warm regards to all of our cousins.

I loved my Uncle Gene and miss him terribly. He was a great guy, fun and so ready with great jokes and valuable advice. He was the patriarch of the family and I thank God I have all those pictures and memories to share with my daughter and nephews who knew him so little. My love and blessings to my cousins and their families in this time of loss.

Anna Laird, and her family

I worked at Convair with Gene in the fifties. I always remember him as a wonderful person. He was always respected by his fellow workers. Condolences to his family.
