To my sweet sweet Billy and Chrissy and family: you both are so extremely important to Jim and myself and my sincere condolences. Pop was a great man that raised wonderful children, how proud he is of all of you, I say that in the present tense because even though his body has passed his spirit will always surround you, guide you and watch over you. As you walk down the path of mourning please remember we are here for you as I am sure so are many people.

What a wonderful and sweet man Big Gene was. Whenever I made my trip to Georgia to see my sister Nancy, Bob and Jordan and Rachel, it was always a pleasure to be around Gene. My last trip down, I took Gene to the doctors and after we left the doctors, Gene asked me if I was hungry, so he took me to one of his favorite places for lunch. I am so happy that I was hungry that day so I able spend that time with Gene talking politics and even sports. ...
