Eugene "Roy" Leopold

Roy bought tires from me for years. He became a friend and mentor in business and a wonderful source for advice. I had not seen him since his retirement, but did speak with him from time to time. He always had a smile on his face that made you feel warm and welcome!! His friendship meant the world to me and I will always remember him fondly! Peace, love and prayers to his wonderful family!

I first met Mr. Leopold when I began training for the Boxing Tough Man Contest being held at the old County Hall on King Street in Charleston. A friend and fellow work colleague, Danny Simmons, had entered our names to compete in the amateur boxing event. Danny knew Mr. Leopold from his days as an amateur fighter.
