Not sure what to say?

Gene Lopez was a very kind and compassionate man. I will always remember his infectious smile and kind manor. He was one in a million!!

To the entire Lopez family,

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Separated by distance, I knew Uncle Gene from only a few brief visits (when he came to Portland, Oregon or when I visited Chicago) but remember him as a gracious, charming man with a beautiful smile. You are a wonderful family and I wished we lived closer to each other! I remember fondly my visit in 2003 with my mom and the generosity of Alicia and John. Big hugs to everyone, especially dear Aunt Jo, from your...

Jo and family,
I was without words to hear of his passing. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. It was an honor to have been able to work with both of you at Holy Family.
Always in my heart.....

My condolences to the entire Lopez family. May he Rest In Peace now that his work is done. To Alicia, my friend, losing a father is one of the hardest things to go through. Cherish those memories forever.

To the Lopez family,
Words cannot express how sad I am of this great loss. I, like many others have had the great pleasure to have worked with him and his wife Jo. His love and his stories about his family will live on forever. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. God bless......

To the Lopez family: To follow is my Facebook post I shared with all my RN and HFH friends.

I was so sad to learn of this man's passing. I learned so much from him in my years at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, IL. I spent many a night with him working in the ER.

I have so many wonderful Gene' stories that keep me smiling whenever I think back to those Days. May God bless him and keep him happy and safe.

To his wife, Jo, Many hugs to you. I loved...

So sorry to hear of Dr. Lopez's passing!
I go way back with both Gene and Jo!
St. Annes' hospital where Jo was in the class ahead of me in nurses training and Dr. Lopez as an intern from Cuba. Then in Elk Grove where my children grew up your family.
Many, many memories keep flooding back. The two of you were very good and caring people!

May God keep the blessings for your family continue to keep coming. I know Dr. Gene will keep a watch on all from his place in...

I have wonderful memories of the entire Lopez family. Dr. Lopez took wonderful care of me and all my brothers and both he and Mrs. Lopez were good friends of my parents. His was a life well lived. Prayers for all of you.

To the entire Lopez Family: Sorry for your loss. Dr Lopez was a wonderful, kind man and he will certainly be missed.
