Gene was always so kind to us at Road Runners.

We are so sorry for your loss. I met Gene when we taught together at Madison Elementary School in the early 80s with Joanne, Nancy and Colleen. This was a beautiful obituary and brought back many memories of our days at Madison. Gene loved tagging along with the "girls" and we all had lots of fun couple times with him and Sandy. Gene was a special guy who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. RIP Gene. Love, Karen

Hi Sandy and Family, Where do I even start?! First of all , my sincere sympathy to you all. Gene was my bud and good friend. He always had a kind word and always enjoyed anything Italian I brought to school to share with him. He was intense and kind. He loved you the boys and his Michelle...I can only imagine him as a Papa and the fun they had. We shared many good times, solved problems of our students but always talked about our families.
