Not sure what to say?

I have such fond memories of Fr. MacDonald. I was in the class of 63 at AWHS. He was a very loving and caring person.

Our sympathy goes out to the McDonald children on the loss of their father. Having gone to AWHS, we remember him with fondness.

Father McDonald, a good priest, and I'm sure a good dad. Being an altar boy, I often served mass for him.

God Bless!

(Aloysius) Gary Bannon

I, like many of the students at AWHS, have wonderful memories of the time we spent there. The ball games and religion class all seem so long ago. Thanks for the wisdom and fortitude you instilled in us all. I know most of our successes are because of your guidance and friendship.
Bill Lowe class of 64.

Gene-thanks for your encouragement, tenacity and guidance. I value your friendship and will miss you.
Michael

Our deepest condolences to the McDonald family for their enormous loss.

We have fond memories of Father McDonald from our days at St. Leo's Church and Archbishop Walsh High School. He was so active in our lives. He personified all that a truly loving, Christian person should be. He taught us through the example of his life. He interacted with us at all levels. He taught us to water ski one summer on the bay along with Barbara Egbert. When George's father died in July, 1965...

Eugene McDonald was a great teacher who taught us how to be true to self by example. He was a frequent visitor to my parents home in Irvington NJ and he was always there for ll of us when needed. He was wonderful man.

Our deepest sympathy to the McDonald family. Father Gene was always so gracious to those of us at AWHS. We remember his kind words and caring during our marriage preparation and celebration nearly 45 years ago. He will be with us in spirit at our 50th reunion in May. Tom and Barbara Kiernan (AWHS 1961)

I have wonderful and fond memories of Fr. Gene from my years at Archbishop Walsh H.S. and St. Leo's parish. But most especially I remember his joyful celebration of my wedding mass. My deepest sympathy to his family in the loss of such a loving and and giving man.
