Gene McGuire will be missed ! We remember him as a humorous, generous and wonderful friend. We met when my sister in law Kathy Ryan worked for him. At the time we had started a program called the NYS Games for the Physically Challenged. Gene wanted to know how he could help these young athletes. He got NBC TV to promote the Games and for the first time ever the track, field& swimming results for the these children where reported on the sports segment rather than human interest. Gene also...
