What a cherished, wonderful, esteemed and treasured man. Gene has contributed so much to his church, his community, his neighborhood and his family. He has left such a bright, shining, enduring legacy for all of us to follow. (If that's even minutely possible.) All who have ever met Uncle Gene are full of admiration, respect and awe at his goodness, kindness, entertaining sense of humor, charm, wisdom, generosity, compassion, deep abiding faith, and unconditional love and service to others....

To Gene's Family, I shared many blessed talks and teachings about our Lord with Gene, and also felt honored to see his joy and hear about his beloved grandchildren. May the peace of Jesus be with each of you during this time of sorrow.
