Not sure what to say?

Our best to Marita in memory of her father. Love, David and geri Salazar, Santa Fe, NM

Gene was my boss when I worked for medical assistance he was a great boss and friend. In all my working career he was the greatest boss I ever had I am extremely saddened by death my sympathies to family Abby Salazar

I met Gene at the two gyms he worked out at regularly the last 5 years. Wonderful person - cheerful, up beat and fine human being as evidenced by the words described in this guest book. He was inspiring to watch in the gym for a man his age and his regular walks downtown. My condolences to his family. Eric Sommer

Our most Sentido Pesame, to Marita and all the family and friends at loss. Those of us who had the pleasure and honor of serving Gene, on a weekly basis, will remember his kindness and generosity. We will keep his memory alive, as we do your mother's.
Mucho Amor, Julia and Carlos Castro

Gene was just a decent, kind human being with a wealth of knowledge of many subjects. I never saw him as the grumpy guy he sometimes tried to portray; just his soft, caring heart. He always had a ear to lend and advice to give. And since we agreed most of the time, I never did have a "Spirited Discussion" with him, but was privileged to witness quite a few as he verbally spared with others. Always taking the highest road, never cruel or demeaning no matter how much he disagreed with them....

I have known Gene for nearly 60 years as he was my Brother-in-law so I was sadden to hear of his passing...
I will always remember him with many fond and loving memories..RIP Gene

Marita,

My heartfelt condolences - both Rita and Gene were two of the best. May they rest in the arms of angels.

My uncle Gene whom I've always loved and respected. I stopped by your house right after Easter when I was passing through Santa Fe, but nobody was home, and I didn't know how to contact you. I will always be sad about not seeing you. I have many, many fond memories. My deepest condolences to Marita. ♡♡♡

My condolences to Marita and all family. Over twenty years ago I had the opportunity to hire Gene to work with us in state government. I always appreciated his professionalism, honesty and directness.

RIP Gene and Love to Marita
