Sorry to hear the recent news about Mel's passing. His contributions to the Dept of Oil Properties still impact the operations of today. Mel was truly a legend in is field.

Mel shared an office with me from 1981 until I retired in 1994. We shared many of the same ideas and beliefs and loved to solve the worlds problems betweem our conversations involving work.
