Eugene METZGER

Forgive this tardy thought in condolence of fond memories of Gene from decades ago. When I was a fresh lawyer in the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department, Gene was the defense counsel for the Idaho First National Bank in an anti-merger case being tried in Boise. (The Bank won.) My memories are pleasing, because Gene was an excellent model of highly intelligent and very able lawyer.
