Not sure what to say?

Uncle Gene was a kind and caring man, always had people's best interest to heart, was calm and reassuring and loved his family dearly. I will miss his laugh, smile, and so many other wonderful attributes. My heart goes out to cousins Amy and Cara and their families, to Aunt Mary Ellen McLaughlin (Gene's SIL) and others in the McLaughlin family. May you rest in peace Gene. Love you.

We are sending our love to Cara, Amy, and the entire family.

When we children , how we so looked forward to a visit from our favorite uncle. His gentle manner and genuine kindness will always hold a special place in my heart. To this day I still feel that tinge of excitement when remembering those days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time.

We grieve with you the loss of a wonderful man who lit up a room with his love, kindness and notable wit. May you be comforted through this difficult, challenging time.
