Not sure what to say?

To the Moore family. I am truly sad to have heard about the loss of Mr. Moore. It is difficult for me to imagine Lake City without him as he epiomized what's good about Lake City. Please know that your loss is ours. Your friend, Milford

Our condolences to the Moore Family. From the YWCA of Greater Charleston, Inc. Board of Directors and Staff

may God comfort you in your time of sorrow. Mr Moore was a great, great man. He was my principal at Scranton Elementary. He loved his students, I will never forget the trips he took us on especially the one to see a Clemson scrimmage game. He is one of the reasons I am a Clemson fan to this day. I have much respect for him. He touched many lives and had such a positive impact on all of them.

Lorraine, Darla, Lisa, and Family
My husband convinced me to go to Scranton Elementary to work with Gene who had taught him. He was a mentor of sorts for me. He inspired and pressured (gently) me to go back to college and get a teaching degree. I am glad he helped me make that decision during the time we worked together. His memory will live on through us that knew and loved him. May God send the comfort you need during this loss.

I knew Mr. Gene for a few years, but those few were great. He was a fine person who will truly be missed in our community. I would love to auction off one more basket of beans for him and see him smile and bid.My wife and I have really enjoyed all the years at the museum. Sincerely Jared and Donna Humphries

To Darla,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences. Although I met Mr. Moore briefly, he appeared to be a very nice person. Keep a lasting memory of the good times that you've had together and may it continually inspire you.
