Not sure what to say?

Gene and me at my Navy retirement ceremony in December, 2005. NAS Patuxent River, MD. Til we meet again, Gene

Gene and I served together in the Navy beginning in 1977 with AMS A school in Millington, Tennessee, then off to NAS Jacksonville before reporting to our squadrons in Brunswick Maine, me to VP-8 and Gene to VP-44. We spent our offtime roadtripping around Midcoast Maine or hanging around the barracks when our meager paychecks ran out. I forget what kind of car Gene had, but it was big and green. We'd cruise around in that or Terry Roland's TBird. In the attached photo, Gene is standing,...

Dear Frank & Irene and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies in the loss of your dear brother Gene. All your friends in DoDEA are praying that God will comfort and strengthen you during your grief. May you all feel the FATHER's touch and may he bless you in everything.
Peace and Grace,

Uncle Gene,
You were always the first one to offer a hand when the family needed you.The stories you'd tell about your brothers and sisters when they were kids growing up in the neighborhood made us feel like we all were there with you. You were my sister and I's favorite childhood playmate( much to Grammy's dismay) playing tick-tock and ankles and feet. You were the first one there no matter the distance when I needed you.I will miss the laughter, your rough and helpful working hands, and...

O'Gara Family - Our hearts are heavy at this very sad time. Gene was a wonderful friend and neighbor and will be sorely missed. From childhood to adulthood Gene has been there for all who asked. In recent years while dealing with sickness every 911 call that was placed Gene was
always the 1st one through the door putting us at ease. Gene will be sorely missed for a very long time. Our heatfelt sympathy to all of you. The Boccuzzi family

To the O'Gara Family: My depest sympathy to all of you at this very sad time. I cannot believe we won"t be seeing Gene waving from the porch. It was reassuing to all of us to know he was there if my parents needed anything when we weren"t around. They will really miss him, as will we all. May he rest in peace.

Frank & Irene O'Gara & family, My deepest sympathies in the loss of your brother. Remember II Corinthians 5:8 states: “We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

Continue trusting in the LORD Proverbs 3:5&6 states: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

May GOD BLESS and keep you!

In Christ, Mary...
