Worked with Gene at CSC in 95-96. Found him to be expert on mainframe computers. Bonded with him since my father was a 6-year submarine combat veteran of WWII. Met occasionally at the bowling alley yet were not really BFF's. Still a great no-nonsense guy - like my Dad. RIP, Gene.
