Not sure what to say?

Thank you all for the kind words and memories of my father. Your friendships are what brought him his happieness. I wish you all the best!

Gene was a fellow colleague. His gentle spirit, and kind character touched staff and students alike. He will be missed. May he be dancing with the angels in Heaven!

My condolences to the Parker family on Gene's passing. I was a classmate and friend of Gene's through high school and Mundelein. When Gene set up as the barber of Philosophy, I was his 1st customer. He made up for his tonsorial shortcomings with his gift of gab.
We reconnected many times in later life and he always kept his warm smile, quick wit and positive outlook in both good and tough times. May he rest in peace.
Rich Brady. Quigley Class of 60

My sympathy to the family and loved ones of Gene. I worked with him for many years at Triton. He was always a caring, patient instructor. He will be missed.

I remember Mr Parker, or back then Father Parker, from St Bonaventure. My aunt was the cook there for many, many years, so I was a staple in the rectory. It's been a very long time since I had seen him, but I always remembered him as a loving and caring person. Rest in peace, and prayers to the family.

We will miss Gene and his kind and gentle spirit. Our prayers go out to those he left behind- God Bless you during this time of sadness.

I will never forget the memories I have of Connor and Lyla giggling hysterically while playing with Uncle Eugene. We will miss him very much!
