Not sure what to say?

One might ask why Gene loved islands, where the land's edge is constantly undergoing change, fashioned daily by the whimsical and often moody sea.
An adventurer, Gene rode the waves, the wind, and as well admired the placid surface of calmer waters.
He, too, animated by the breezes, appreciated a sudden passage of birds. An island of sincerity, liberty and simplicity...Gene himself. Remembering your upcoming birthday and feeling grateful for your life lived so well,
yours ever ...

Gene was a straight up awesome man who I was blessed to be involved with in both business and pleasure. Lots of tennis and lots of Gene sharing his knowledge about business and life. He was a major figure in my and my families life and he is one of the kindness people I have ever met. In the years I was fortunate to work with Gene I never heard him say a negative word about anyone and I will never forget him ever. Love to Gene and his family.

We just learned of Gene's passing at the Jesse Klump Memorial Fund yesterday, and were saddened by the news. Gene was a loyal and generous supporter of our scholarship and suicide prevention program, but his genuine interest and care for the work we do was of far greater value to us than his financial support. I know I speak for our President, Kim Klump, and for the rest of our Board, volunteers, and those whom we serve when I send our condolences.

Gene was my cousin. He was one of the most generous people I have ever known. We would come up from Virginia every summer to visit family in Ocean City. One of our visits was always with Gene. He always insisted on taking us out to lunch, and giving my kids free tickets to Frontier Town. They loved his Frontier Town.

As they grew up, he always remembered the special times in their lives. He didn't have to do that, but he wanted to. I will always remember how Gene loved me and my...

I have a story to tell !
Let me know when the celebration service will be held.

I was saddened to hear of Gene's passing. My heart goes out to Mitch and the Parker family. I have fond memories of being on the regulatory end of Gene's land development projects. We butted heads a time or two, but we had a mutual respect for one another. He always had such high positive energy. And that smile would light up the room. After one of the projects he gave me a Staples "Easy Button" that I still have in my office today. May all of your fond memories keep Gene alive in your heart...

Gene and I have known each other since we were young boys growing up in Selbyville. Good friends because our lives were so much alike. Our talks were full of remembering the good times. Gene always referred to Sue as his “ Special cornbread lady”. She kept him well stocked up. Gene we miss you already. Heaven has gained a special person. Jerry & Sue Long

Gene, you were a dear friend. You will be missed.
