Not sure what to say?

I am so lucky to have served with Eugene in combat, in Vietnam, in many ways. He was one of the wisest, smartest, well balanced persons I've ever had the good fortune to know.

Dear Pawlowski Family, As a NYU trustee and member of the NYU audit committee I knew Gene through his work as NYU's chief auditor. I very much appreciated his dedication to his work, kindness to his colleagues, and his always good humor. I am very sorry for your loss and offer my condolences. Sincerely, David Oxman

Dear family! My sincere sympathy and condolences to all of you as you go through this very difficult time. As hard as this may be, you can know if he is no longer suffering in any pain whatsoever. I hope you find peace and comfort as you go through this difficult time.

I'm so very sorry for your loss Ginny and to the rest of your family. Always loved talking to Gene. Very nice and wonderful guy to work for. Frank Nerone

I learned a lot from Gene which helped me build my internal auditing career, which I am still in. He was a mentor, lots of stories to tell, a wonderful story teller, and still remember his points and example in my writing and what steps to do next, professionally and personally. Glad that I still have his handwritten recipe for "Gene´s chili." He´s a rare, one of a kind boss - caring, lots of knowledge and skills, confident - and I was blessed to be in his team at NYU. I´ll miss you, Gene,...

Gene was a classmate at Benedictine and at John Carroll: class of `59 and `63. My deepest sympathy to his family.
