To the Phipps Family:
I had the pleasure of meeting Gene back in 1989 at what was NCNB. He was such a gentleman and I came to admire his business sense as well as his caring manner. He was a role model to many. My thoughts are with you. He gave you every reason to be proud! Sincerely, Cathy Schuver

We were very lucky to know Gene and Pam and have been blessed by their friendship and leadership. Gene will be missed dearly, but his memory will forever be linked the Pink House. Pam, David and Michael and your families are in our prayers.

Pam:
Gene was a special person who I came to admire many years ago when we both served on the Board of the Family Center. I enjoyed so much playing golf with him on many occasions mostly at CCC but also on a special weekend several years ago at Bald Head Island. He was a caring and courageous man who all that knew him will greatly miss. Missy and my thoughts and condolences go out to you and your family. Best, Doug Anderson
