Dear Jed and Charles, we met your dad at the Boulders. We were friends of the Goldsteins and Costellos. My husband always loved playing golf with Gene. He was so much fun and a gentleman. We hope that fond memories of him will comfort you at this difficult time.

So sad to hear the about Gene, my dad's best friend throughout his life. Uncle Gene was one of the nicest souls I've ever met and I am glad to have known him. I will always remember our ski trips with Jed and Chuck and of course climbing Tuckerman"s Ravine with Gene and all.
Condolences to the family. He will be truly missed.

I have such definite memories of your dad after he married my cousin Elaine ( I am Aunt Anita's youngest daughter). Although I was really young and did not spend a lot of time other than holidays, Gene's integrity and gentle demeanor coupled with his devotion to you both and Elaine left a deeply lasting impression. I'm so sorry for both of your losses but happy for you to have shared the riches of the role model who was your dad!
