Eugene L. Prescott

Gene was a good man, his life was a testimony of God's blessings and he was one of our Lord's special vessels used for the kingdom and I am honored that I knew him for 30+ years. We talked about more than just his boats that I was working on all this time, we talked about how good our God is. I will miss you Gene.

Mr. Prescott was the first person to invite me to church with our congregation. That was over 15 years ago when I was a waitress at Pearcy Fish Nest. He and Lorene would request my section every Sunday afternoon. He always joked with me and was a pleasure to wait on. When I moved to Hot Springs in 2007, I made Airport Road Church of Christ my home because of Mr. Prescott. I hope he knew the impact his kindness, love and example had on my life. Prescott was the older brother to me. I will miss him so!

Uncle Gene, you were an inspiration to me. You truly were a Christian man and I looked up to you for that. You were what a Christian man should be. You are loved and will be missed.
