Nancy, Our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family. I have many wonderful childhood memories of Eugene playing that accordion at family gatherings! May God bless the celebration of his life.

Love, Roger and Lisa Chesser

Kirk,
My condolences. I didn’t know that he’d been in Care. Sad to lose a classmate.

Nancy and family, my deepest sympathies at this time. He is in a better place. God will watch over him. Keep God with you during this time.

My brother was at Covenant Glen for a little over three years. After he got to know my husband & I, he would say Hi. I enjoyed helping Eugene occasionally when I was visiting my brother; usually helping him down to the lunch room or back to his room. When I found out he played the accordion in the Frankentrost Band, I asked if he would play something for me sometime. The sparkle in his eyes & the smile on his face spoke volumes.

My sympathies. Praying God's peace and comfort. Eugene always made you feel welcome. I remember a time when both our mothers were in Covenant Glen. It was a holiday dinner and he said we should eat with them. I think the staff put two tables together for us.
