My dear best Vietnam War friend,I shall hope to find you again in our afterlife. You enhanced the spiritual lives of all, both alive, alive but wounded, and wounded-dying. You were more than a brother to me. Your loving family represented living memorial statues in the art and toil of supportive care. Blessings and profound heartfelt sympathy to all!

Joyce, I am so sorry to learn of Gene's passing, He meant so much to so many people. He spoke so highly of you, always. I was asked by him many years ago to be on the Board of Directors of his Neuropathy Support Network, and I was so honored to have him ask me and of course I said yes!! But I've been ill off and on with an incurable, rare non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and as a result, I have not been close to helpful the past few years. However, I would always be available when ever he asked...

Joyce: I am so very sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort be with you in your time of need.

Gene was a beacon of hope and encouragement to those of us with peripheral neuropathy (P-N). He was a national leader and mentor among P-N support group leaders and will be missed terribly.
