Not sure what to say?

Our prayers go out to Gene and his Family. He will be missed. Always Great memories Fly Fishing with him in the Mountain Streams.

I had the pleasure of knowing Gene for over seven years. What started out as a business relationship turned into a friendship. Gene never complained about personal or physical setbacks and he always kept his head held high and persevered to the end.
Rest in peace my friend!

My wife, Kathy & I met Gene some years ago & we became friends through our work at Mountain Place Realty. Gene was a great guy and will be missed by everyone. Our prayers are with his family and close friends

Gene was such a great friend. He always had a smile on his face and was ready to face whatever the day would bring.
He was an inspiration to all of us who knew him. Never complained about being sick just would speak about his faith and that God was in control. His love for his family was never questioned, whenever we visited, he always spoke about all the children and grandchildren.. He was a proud grampa!! We are so happy we had the pleasure of having Gene in our lives, he taught us...

great guy Gene, will miss you..fish with the angels

It was always a pleasure to cross paths with Gene while out working on the farm. He was always kind and cheerful. His presence will be missed.

Gene was a wonderful neighbor for many years. He was also a great supporter to Heather in her fund raising for Ga. Mtn. Classics Car Club to help needy children and their families. Our hearts are sad, but we know he is not suffering anymore and resting in peace. He fought a good fight and always said he was doing good. He was a great part of our lives and we will miss him so much. We know how much he loved his family and living on Little Creek. We are praying for all of the family and...
