Not sure what to say?

Dear Aunt Betty and Family,
We just received a surprise call from Penny and she told us about Uncle Eugene. We are so sorry for your loss. It is difficult when we are so far away and we do not hear about things like this until much afterward. Thank goodness Penny called us or we would have never known. We loved Uncle Eugene. We still have a picture of all the siblings, from a family gathering in the 1980's, sitting on our shelf in Tom's office. We are reminded our Utah family...

Dear Betty and Family; We send our love and condolences to all of you. Eugene always answered the cry for help from the Moss Family...no matter what the crisis was. And we will be grateful to him for the excellent work ethic he always had. Being neighbors we enjoyed his sense of humor and that great personal style (jeans and suspenders) that was Eugenes signiture style...Betty, Craig and family, know that this is just a short season of time until we will all gather together again....and may...

Dear Family: Just a short note to let you know our thoughts are with you at this sacred time. Your family has come to mean a lot to us the last few years, and we want you to know of our love and gratitude for your association. Love and blessings, Gary and Jodi Gillespie and Family

I am sorry to hear about Eugenes passing. I believe a true measure of a man is the legacy he leaves behind. Eugene and Betty Jean have raised an amazing family. Each carry a strong testimony and conviction of the gospel, that will be passed on to their children and grand children. He lived a wonderful life.

I know that Jill and Will are there representing the Gambles, but I needed to let you all know that I am thinking of you and miss you. Granny, Thank You and grandpa for being so good to my family and me. We love you. Aren't we thankful for the plan of salvation?

Dear Mindy, Betty Jean, Craig, Jan, Tina, Shelly, Ricki, Heidi and all the family:
Your Dad is in such a great place now. Have peace in your heart and know of his great love for each of you! Betty Jean you continue to be such a strength to your family and you were always a wonderful wife to Eugene. You served him with love, with a smile and a positive word. Mindy, I know how very much you loved your Dad and how hard it was to see your Dad suffer through this, he is so blessed to be...

Bishop Salmon & Tina -
On behalf of the Young Women of the Willow Wood Ward, we would like to send our deepest sympathies for the passing of your father. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that you will be comforted by the Spirit and to rejoice in the knowledge that you will be with him one day.

Craig & Family, I was sad to hear about Gene. I always enjoyed working around him as he was a great example of hard work and integrity. I hope that you will find peace and comfort in this event. I can see him now with his suspenders and levis and hear his laugh. He will be missed.

Tina,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
