Eugene C. Sample Jr.

Gene was a great friend and a great scientist. I had the pleasure of being on some committees with him. I also enjoyed playing some golf with him. These reflections bring fond memories. We send our condolensces.

Myna, Ken and I have kept up with you through MB and Claudia We are at the beach coming home on Tuesday however, Claudia has called on my cell phone several times this week We are thinking of you and have prayed for you and your family . Fondly Ken and Judy Copeland

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Sample's passing. I worked with him at TVA and always called him "Boss." He was a wonderful person. God bless you.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. I always remember him as such a kind/gentle man. I know you all will miss him greatly. I wish I could have expressed my condolences in person, but I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Gene Sample was a true southern gentleman and a valuable asset to our little town. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Allison,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. There are no words that can truly comfort you right now. I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a parent. Just know that I and the entire DHS Class of 1988 are praying for you and your family and we are all here for you and love you dearly. May God give you comfort.
