Very sad to hear of Gene’s passing . I meet him first back in 1980 I was hired as a hostess, this was my very first job. Then when the West side was to open, I move over there for 3 years more years. They were the best bosses I ever had, thank you Gene and Gerry. My sincere condolences to Mary and the family.
Out of sight but never far from our thoughts.

Been going to the restaurant since the day my parents brought me home 1962. Gene was a wonderful business man. I was sadden to hear today that he had passed. My parents were good friends with him and dad and uncle. They had their first date OKC. A Portland legend. My condolences to the family.

I worked as a waitress at OCK for 3 yrs, Evelyn was a waitress and a manager and worked approx 40 yrs and Betty was a waitress for approx 40 yrs. We all loved working and eating there and considered the bosses as friends. May God give the family His peace and comfort during this time.
