Scherling, Eugene Age 69, of St. Louis Park passed away suddenly Nov. 12. Preceded in death by parents, Barney and Katherine. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Sandra; children, Kathy and Richard Reinach, Barry and Rebecca Scherling, David and Tara Scherling, Jonathan Scherling; grandchildren, Erika, Sydney, Max and Anna Scherling, Allen and Peter Guertin; and many loving relatives and friends. Eugene graduated from the U of M Dental School in 1964 and practiced dentistry for 37 years. He was a member of the Mpls Southwest Lions and the United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery Association. He was very active at The Lenox Foundation and was a past regent for the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Eugene and Sandra were also Goodwill Senior Ambassadors for St. Louis Park. Eugene loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, gardening, reading, and traveling. Funeral service WEDNESDAY (TODAY), Nov. 15 at 11:00 AM at B'NAI EMET SYNAGOGUE, 3115 Ottawa Ave. S., St. Louis Park. Memorials preferred to The Lenox Foundation, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park, 55426, B'Nai Emet Synagogue or Talmud Torah.
