Read MoreI'm so sorry to see this. Gene was a fellow boat modeler at the West Michigan IMPS club. I learned so much from him and his expertise as we had the same interest in ship/boat modeling. My sincerest condolences to his family. I would've certainly attended his funeral.

I always loved seeing Joe at our concerts, standing proud when the Navy song was played. Condolences to Jan, Chris, Sonya, and the rest of the Schmidt family.
