I want to extend my condolences and prayers to the Schoolfield family. When I moved from South Carolina in Erie, Pa. in 2005, I attended St. James A.M.E. Church and met Rev. Schoolfield. He was the first pastor I had met since leaving home in 1994 who I felt comfortable talking to about anything. With both of us being from West Virginia, we had an immediate connection, but he was a good man. He fought that battle like a champion. God bless his kids and family. R.I.P. brother.
