A legend has passed. Uncle Gene represented to us the last of the long line of Schulers. History now takes another turn, never to be repeated in the Lehigh Valley, of a family of brothers & sister who contributed & excelled in the sports program of a city. He was a good man.

My deceased husband, Charles, worked with Gene on the Railroad for 30 years and considered him a close friend for all of that time. Gene was always there for my husband to see that he was treated well by the RR when he retired and there for me after my husband died to make sure that I got all of the benifits due me.
