Not sure what to say?

Judy & Chris:

Gene was my mentoring teacher back in 1968. I taught at East Lyme High until June of 1969 and then at North Have High for the next 30 years.
Your mother and father, as did others, tried to
get me to stay at East Lyme but Ann and I had bought a house in Rocky Hill. I many memories of East Lyme and the high school staff.

Thanks Gene and God Bless:

Judy and Chris,

I am truly sorry for your loss. Your dad was a valued friend and professional colleague. I will miss him.

To Gene's Family and Friends,

Simply put, "Schultzie" was one of the all time greats. It was great to have him as a teacher and an honor to call him a friend. One of the great parts of attending an event at the Garde Arts Center was being able to talk with Gene. He truly loved seeing his old students and friends. Go in peace my friend. God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was one of a kind and when Joan and he were in the same room together...it was always a laugh. Brittany and Chris, my prayers and thoughts for both of you and your families.
