I lost my Dad 24 years ago when my daughter was just a baby. She never was able to know or share milestones with her grandpa. Uncle Gene made a surprise trip to Florida at her high school graduation 8 years ago to fill that void. To this day, his kind heart is not forgotten. Nor will he be.

I have known Gene (Jersey) for 58 or 59 years and I am deeply saddened by his death. I was once in a position that I asked Jersey for a loan and he sent more than the amount requested. He was a true friend and I will miss him.
