Sending deepest Sympathies on the passing of your Dad. Gene is one of the nicest people my brother and I ever had the pleasure of knowing.
We are lucky to be "Cousins" of Gene's. Our families are related by memories of family members long forgotten. My father and Gene were very close, not just by blood but also their Patriotism and service to our Veterans. Both my Father and Gene belonged to just about every Veteran's association known to man!!. I had the pleasure of meeting Gene at a few of our LCCC Nursing reunions. He was a proud graduate who represented our program and college well. RIP to the Slabinski family.

My deepest condolences to Genes family.
I too am a classmate of Gene's. He was determined to graduate nursing school and he did. We had plenty of good laughs. Later we connected up the WBVA where he retired. A great human being.
Tom was my lab partner in anatomy class.

Condolences. I was in Ed's Nursing class, great guy and RN! I still tell the story of when he slipped on the ice, broke his leg and joked of how many times he did air-sea rescue and never was injured and then ice gets him! He was one in a million! RIP Mr. Slabinski!!
