I worked as a waitress with Gene at the Saratoga Racetrack for four years. He was one of the sweetest people there. He always had a smile and a kind word for me making me feel welcome and part of the group.

To my Nita's, Denise, and Family....Our prayers are with you.

Anita and Denise and the Smalls Family

Smalley was a special person to our family and very special friend to my mom for over 47 years. He always made us laugh and was a joy to be around. I will miss calling him every New Years' Day to wish him a happy birthday. He would always ask how every family member was. I will miss him calling me to wish my husband and me a happy anniversary, every single year. I feel a great loss and am going to miss him for sure.

Gene Smalls was a very special man and always had a smile on his face. I have known Gene for twenty years as a friend and coworker. He was a true gentleman and loved life to the fullest. My thoughts and Prayers are with his family and friends.

GENE WAS A REALLY NICE MAN,I WORKED WITH HIM FOR YEARS ON THE OVERFLOW LIST,AND AT THE SARATOGA RACETRACK.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
