"Praise the Lord, Eusebia" was always his greeting to me whenever he called me on the phone. I will always remember that and him especially today on the anniversary of his death. 8/1/2021

I met Mr. Smith at DaVita dialysis...when he would come in or leave...he would always greet you with a smile and say... "Praise the Lord sir..." Earth's loss is heaven's gain. May the companion and family be comforted by God's word.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, for unto us is given an appointed time to see our Savior face to face. Sharron Gray Foster and Family of Lipscomb, Al.

Eugene and I met way back in the 70's when he started working at the SSA Payment Center, which at the time was on Bagby Drive in Homewood. I was actually one of his training instructors. He was a very intelligent person and a son of God. We became friends and stayed in touch after I left SSA in 1977. We especially liked to talk sports. During football season he would call me and say "How 'bout those Crimson Tide." I last saw him a few months ago at the Civic Center Nursing & Rehabilitation...
