Read MoreI remember Gene(Pee Wee ) from high school many years ago and always found him to kind and a lot of fun. He always had a smile on his face. He attended my Mom’s funeral in2002 which was very comforting
to see him there.

You would do anything for anyone . We had a lot of fun together . I remember once when you and Fred Thomas talked me into , calling in sick from work to go perch fishing in your boat at lake Erie . We had 8 foot waves and caught one small perch between us while holding on to the side on the boat , we did drink a few beers and a great time though . One of many . I miss you very much .

Very sorry to hear this news. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Smith and family. I was fortunate to play for him for many years and always smile when I think of him. He touched many people along the way and was an example for all. Remember that as you heal. God bless.
