Not sure what to say?

I remember Gene(Pee Wee ) from high school many years ago and always found him to kind and a lot of fun. He always had a smile on his face. He attended my Mom’s funeral in2002 which was very comforting
to see him there.
My deepest sympathy to you Barb and your family.

I just wanted to share with you that if anyone would like to view a photo gallery, it can be found on Carlson Funeral Home website. Many wonderful memories that will put a smile on your face.

My funniest memory was of
Pee Wee's leg coming through the ceiling at McGarvey's in Vermilion.

You would do anything for anyone . We had a lot of fun together . I remember once when you and Fred Thomas talked me into , calling in sick from work to go perch fishing in your boat at lake Erie . We had 8 foot waves and caught one small perch between us while holding on to the side on the boat , we did drink a few beers and a great time though . One of many . I miss you very much .

Very sorry to hear this news. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Smith and family. I was fortunate to play for him for many years and always smile when I think of him. He touched many people along the way and was an example for all. Remember that as you heal. God bless.

From Ed Unaitis and Carol Unaitis: PeeWee's journey is over and his foot steps took him near and far. We watched him raise his family in Hinckley and spent many good times with them. He certainly was an asset to the community and beyond. Your journey is done- Looking down on all of us below. Thanks for being you! Rest in Peace~ Ed and Carol.
